During the week you can find me at our family printing business  AnzaGroup which has now grown into a whole lot more then printing. I feel very lucky to do what I love, just wish there were more hours in the day.

My newest adventure is taking it one step forward and developing this website to bring my creativity to you. HOWDY! I’m Cheryl, welcome to my shop where I create Rustic Primitive to Western Chic items, with an old-fashioned flair!
All the items are handcrafted in my studio on our small ranch here in Gilroy, CA where we live with our 4 horses, 6 cats and slightly handicapped hen named Rockette “Rocky”.

I’ve loved to create, paint and sew in one form or another my whole life and really reconnected with my passion when creating handcrafted invitations and favors for our Western~Southwestern inspired wedding.  I started with hand made paper which was an obsession (probably from being raised in a print shop) which lead to “paper casting” for framed art and orni’s.

Of course as a crafter you find inspiration all around you so my crafting interests have been diverse over the years. I also enjoy turning so called trash into treasures. Especially old jeans, rusty horse shoes, barbwire and barn wood. I believe that almost everything can be recycled and turned into something unique. Old and worn is a favorite style of mine. Old things have a way of touching everyone's heart in some way. Taking us back to a time when "keeping it simple" was a way of life.

I started by selling to friends, at flea markets and local craft shows. As weekends are my most productive time to create I decided craft shows would have to wait for awhile and now sell exclusively at Cottage Crafts Boutique but of course still do special things for friends, family and personal requests. I truly love making items that customers enjoy displaying in their homes or giving as gifts. I also have fun creating custom orders as time permits.
